Insurance Account Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

State Farm Insurance Agent in Chicago's North Center neighborhood seeks an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member you will build and develop customer relationships, procure new lead sources and referrals to sell and service State Farm products including auto home and life and health insurance. This is an opportunity to work with a State Farm Agent who represents the #1 Auto & #1 Home Insurer.

NOTE:   You MUST be possess REQUIRED INSURANCE LICENSES, or the ability to pass the Illinois State exams before your start date. This is mandatory. Fees will be paid by the Agent.

Requirements
  • Must possess Illinois Insurance Producers License or ability to pass licensing exams and obtain the Illinois Producers license
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving and attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers and existing clients, assess customers' needs, and network to develop new prospective clients
  • Computer literate and ability to learn new software programs quickly and proficiently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Manage customer insurance accounts and update information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and renewals.
  • Provide information on insurance products and services.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
Responsibilities
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Contact clients on daily basis regarding insurance concerns and insurance needs
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service such as responding to inquiries about insurance coverage, eligibility, insurance rates, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Secure new business for the Agency through networking, referrals and sales activities

Compensación: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
