Insurance Account Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
State Farm Agent Jim Tom in Chicago (North Center) is searching for a competitive licensed insurance representative-agent team member who can recognize opportunities and strategically turn leads into long-lasting customer relationships.Your knowledge of insurance products and industry trends equips you to communicate directly with customers, identify their needs, and market products or services that maximize value. You may also assist in developing strategies and establishing quotas for our agency. We prefer Illinois Insurance Producers Licenses and experience in a similar role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage customer insurance accounts and update information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and renewals.
  • Provide information on insurance products and services.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Provide information about insurance products and services.
  • Assist customers with policy applications and renewals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.  
  • Generate increase in agency by strategically upselling and cross-selling life insurance products, based on customers’ needs
  • Conduct reviews and provide recommendations to customers, to address gaps and maximize discounts
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues, from beginning to end.
  • Possess or able to build a center of influence & network of contacts using various channels to create new prospects
  • Leverage ECRM tools to track and manage client interactions effectively 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred
  • Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Prior exp in customer service and/or sales preferred.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with ability to build rapport
  • Enthusiastic personality and Persuasive 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Property & Casualty & Life & Health Insurance Licensed 
  • Experience in similar role preferred  
  • Bilingual Preferred
