Chicago IL (North Center) State Farm Insurance Agency seeks a motivated & dynamic individual to join our team. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, possesses strong work ethics, highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet insurance customers in a friendly and warm manner in person and over the phone, prior to attending to their needs.
- Manage insurance appt scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming insurance inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Resolve customer inquiry on the first call by leveraging an in-depth knowledge of policy details and insurance procedures, which significantly improved the customer satisfaction score.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Leverage ECRM tools to track and manage client interactions effectively
- Develop prospective insurance customers, using various channels.
- Assisting with develop new prospective customers for our insurance agency
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in cross selling sales conversations.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong customer retention/service skills.
- Proficiency in sales administration and customer service.
- Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional service.
- ILLINOIS INSURANCE LICENSES (possess or acquire asap)
- Prior insurance agency experience
- Bilingual preferred
Overall comp for this role is determined by candidates’ insurance experience, Insurance licenses, skills, education
Note: This position is with a State Farm Agent's office, not State Farm Insurance Companies.
Compensation: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour

- We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
- Our office is located in Chicago, 60618 (North Center).
- Our office is open Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm.
- I have been a State Farm agent since 1989.
- Additional languages spoken: Spanish and Cantonese
