RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, then assisting with any requests, or directing them to the other agency team members who would be able to assist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a receptionist and/or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable with engaging conversations or communications with prospective and existing customers in person, phone calls, emailing or text.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong work ethics
- Attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and Coachable
- Illinois Insurance Producers Licenses (P&C & L&H) - must possess or possess ability to acquire asap
This in-office position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm Companies.
Compensation: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

- We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
- Our office is located in Chicago, 60618 (North Center).
- Our office is open Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm.
- I have been a State Farm agent since 1989.
- Additional languages spoken: Spanish and Cantonese
