Overview: State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative-Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support and assistance, crossing selling based on customers’ needs and developing prospective customers. You will generate the kind of exceptional client experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support via phone, email, and text.
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Accurately process orders and manage data entry tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Resolve customer issues promptly while adhering to company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette in all communications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Discover gaps in coverage and offer additional products to address those gaps
- Develop prospective customers
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English - bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred.
- Previous experience in client services or customer support is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service challenges.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette best practices is essential.
- Insurance Licenses required or ability to acquire asap.
- Prior insurance experience preferred.
- Bilingual spanish, chinese, vietnames or other languages preferred.

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
- Our office is located in Chicago, 60618 (North Center).
- Our office is open Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm.
- I have been a State Farm agent since 1989.
